First of all thank you for coming, out and playing some football with us.

Did you guys have fun?

Speaking as a dad, whether you know it or not it means the world to us that you guys wake up so early to come out to spend some time with us.

We obviously want you to come out to have some fun with us and spend some quality time with us but more importantly we hope that you learned some valuable lessons.

Like sportsmanship, knowing how to win and lose with grace without getting mad at your opponent. Working together as a team, one person can’t play football by themselves and expect to win without their teammates right?

Camaraderie – Having fun and enjoying time with your friends , teammates and your dads. Experiencing the highs and the lows of winning or losing together can build stronger bonds with your friends.

Exercise – The benefits of being active. We all know exercising is good for you, it keeps your heart healthy, it builds muscle and it’s also good for your brain!

Whether you know it or not you guys are creating memories. 5-10 years from now you’re going to remember that time when your dad brought you out to play football with his F3 friends. You’re gonna look back and be like, remember when dad woke us up at 5 in the morning?? How much fun we had. Remember that super cool guy named Meta and how he dominated the football field, how he scored relentlessly almost at will, remember that??  : )

How many of you guys think it’s crazy that we wake up at 5 in the morning to workout?

I’m going to share a little secret, that your dads might not have told you. Most of us do it so that we can spend more time with you and the rest of the family in the afternoons. We would rather wake up a few hours early while you guys are asleep so we can take you to the park, coach your sports team or just sit at home and watch a movie with you.  So the next time you wonder, why is dad getting up so early to workout, well one of the reasons we do it is to have more free time to spend with you guys.

It was awesome to see these 2.0’s play, we have some future professional football players!  Great to see my buddy and coworker come out from Wheaton, F3 Magnum P.I.
