Introduction

Got there early enough to set up a few lights in the areas we would be later and met Cutler and D-Bag for a 3 mile EC run. Weather was almost too perfect for mid November – 57 deg and no wind.

The Thang

We started with an AMRAP for 12 minutes total, with 48 sec of work and 12 sec of rest.
  • Curls
  • Overhead Press
  • Coupon Squats
We left our coupons behind and moseyed to the picnic tables for an EMOM for 12 minutes total.
  • 6 Burpees
  • 6 Derkins
We then moseyed into the grass near the basketball courts and held plank for 12 minutes. Whenever someone breaks plank we all did 12 big boys then get back into plank position.

Now that we’re hallfway through Reindeer Games, I talked about the goals I set for myself when we began. I wanted to EC run (or simetimes ruck) 3 miles every day. So far, I’ve been able to keep that goal. If ohers has set goals for themselves, I encouraged them to evaluate where they are relative to their goals at the halfway point. If they did not necessarily set goals, I encouraged them to evaluate the progress, gains, and accomplishments they’ve had in these past three weeks. Be proud of what you’ve accomplished.
