Introduction

It was a humid morning as I cruised in to meet up with a gaggle of PAX to complete a quick 1.5 mile EC around the Ridge.  As the PAX rolled in my gratitude was high as I greeted my former SLT 1, men that we chose to serve on SLT after us, men that currently serve on our SLT, Naperville PAX who helped light the fire, guys I have recently watch accelerate, & guys just beginning their journey. After a quick reflection we got to work.

CoT:

Gratitude, that is my message this morning.  I am truly humbled by the outpouring of support of all of you here this morning & the personal messages that were sent to me.

When I started F3 I was a Sad Clown wearing that happy face on the outside but an imposter on the inside.  Someone who did not really care about others, someone who dragged his family behind him in tow as he climbed the corporate ladder looking for happiness.  It was not until F3 entered my life that I realized I was living the wrong way, living for myself & not for/with others.  Early in my F3 journey I Q’d on the anniversary of my Dad’s Death.  Before that Q I came up here on this hill & spent some quiet time reflecting, crying.  I had never really spoken to others about my Dad’s death until my CoT that morning.  This group has taught me so much but maybe most importantly to be vulnerable.  To kiss my wife every day, tell my kids when I fail, tell another man I love him, & share my vulnerability with others.  Men if you allow it F3 has the ability to change your life.  So my ask is for you to you embrace it.  If F3 or me or another man has impacted you then it is your duty to give it away to the next man

We are living in a society of weak men, a society of abonded sons, self-absorbed men out for themselves, & have lost their heart. It is time to “Stop Being Less Men” Be the anti-society man, be the strong, be the Wild at Heart.  AYE!!!
