Introduction
Humid and hot today!! Sweating at 4am!
Warm-O-Rama
As we focused on grip strength today we started off with bricks that were wrapped in towels for the entire WoR. Once WoR done we ran a killer with is basically a double suicide while carrying our bricks.
The Thang
Moseyed to the playground where there were more towels awaiting. 2 rounds of the following was done : Dead hang with a towel until failure from the monkey bars, 25 twists of the towel each direction, and pull-ups to failure. From there we went to the buckets on the adjacent path. We carried those to the end of the path where we did 10 fingertip merkins followed by 15 washing machines. Then we moseyed back with our buckets. 🪣 were filled 3/4 with water.
we went back and repeated the pull-up/dead hang circuit before coming back to the buckets where we did prtnwr Carrie’s while the other held plank or did fingertip merkins. Went back to the pull up bars where I had therabands waiting. We did several sets of resisted wrist Flexion and extension reps.

Did you know that research shows that grip strength can equate to life expectancy? Several articles show the correlation which makes proving that grip strength is important. Personally I feel like we do the same thing repeatedly in F3 so wanted to do something different.
