Introduction
Kicking off Da Grizz as our new Saturday Ruck AO. Bring rucking to the most scenic AO in F3 Plainfield
Warm-O-Rama
Shuffling feet and high knees through the disclaimer and core principles. Daisy picker, Abe Vigodas, Arm Circles, Michael Phelps to get us moving.
The Thang
Rucked up and grabbed a sandbag to share. Headed to the hill for a sandbag centipede to the top. Took a long meandering ruck throughout the AO. Hills, staircases, and some big rocks. Circling back to pick up the 6 on the way.
Really wanted to showcase the awesomeness of Da Grizz heading to some often and not often frequented parts of the AO.
Circle of Trust
Your HC means something. It’s a commitment to yourself even more than a commitment to the Q. Live up to your HC. When you don’t want to go; when your not feeling it; that’s when you need to show up. Naked Man Moleskin
Da Grizz is an amazing AO with ton’s to offer. It’s truly a beautiful park and a great park district. So disappointing to see trash on the ground even right next to a trash can. We picked up a bunch of trash on our ruck today. Set the example for others and clean up when you can.
Honored to be able to lead 14 PAX on our first “official” ruck at Da Grizz. Looking forward to many more.
