I told the PX to do the 1.5 mile outer loop or smaller 0.6 mile loop or run out past the school to the end of the path and back or a combo of all three.  Only rule was not by your self.  We met back at 5:55 for stretching at the flags.  I led a group doing the Galloway run walk method.  The interval we did today was 1:30 slow run and 30 sec walk.  It is a good way to improve your distance/cardio fitness while keeping your heartrate from spiking into the dangerous levels.

 

Doing this method has allowed me to keep my heartrate in zone 2 from almost all of my long runs now.

I talked about looking at some our our goals every once and a while and make sure that you are still working towards them.  A goal ceases to be a goal if you are not taking action towards it.
