Introduction
Intended to be chest day and everyones shoulders were on fire. I have to rethink things?
Warm-O-Rama
Called for an immediate count, asked who had phones and was CPR certified and began
Slow mosey to the hill. As we slowly jogged in a line to the Hill I did all introductions (Welcome, disclaimer, Principles, Mission, and Credo) and then asked Men to partner up. We were odd so I did not take a partner. I wanted to manage the design for the Men instead of worrying about myself.
We got to our Coupons and ran them to my water bottle at the base of Mt. Wood. Around the water bottle, we performed Burpenators from 5, One Mountain Merkin to check form, and then did Colt 45s together. Once done we curl carried around the backside of the hill to 4 waiting stations.
The Thang
Just 1 Thang
Station 1 was Flys with baby coupons and Clocktower Merkins up the hill (10 in every direction)
Station 2 was the timer (I’ll come back to it)
Station 3 was OHP’s and 20 alternating Derkins and Irkens up the hill
Station 4 was Mountain Merkins until your partner relieved you who bear crawled up the hill to do 20 Seal Claps.
All chest stations switched when the man that was partially up the hill was done. Station 2, “the timer” controlled switching stations. The “timer” bear crawled up the backside, moseyed down the front side to my waterbottle, turned around, bernie sanders up the front face and then crawl beared back down to signal a switch.
We did all stations twice, moseyed back and then riffle carried the home stretch. Rapped with 3 negative OHP.
Circle of Trust
Things are not always what they seem and we all have or own perspectives. Just because I see expanding into a different region would be something incredibly important to impact the most men and do more for my immediate community does not mean everyone at the boot camp sees it that way.
I will do this more often…
I told everyone that I will ask them how this expansion could benefit them and community. I said what I believe and then had a round table discussion about their beliefs.
