1-OYO excercise for area of focus

The Thang

Played Knockout to determine teams.  1st PAX out = court 1; 2nd = Court 2; 3rd Out=Court 3; 4th Out = Court 4.  Repeat till all 14 PAX were on a team.

Thang 1: (Hustle; aka “21”)

Each court then proceeded to play 1 game of Hustle (“21”) with everyone vs. everyone for that court.  2 hoops had 4 PAX each and 2 hoops had 3 PAX each.  Once everyone was warmed up and 1 court had a winner; we then moved to Thang 2.

Thang 2:

Full court 4 on 4 on court 1.  Half Court 3 on 3 for court 2.  Played by 2’s and 3’s until 1 court had a winner.  Then paired the 2 winning teams for a head to head and the other 2 teams on court 2.  1 PAX had to leave leaving an odd # so the PAX sitting out did some OYO exercise with a coupon on the sideline until they rotated back in.

Thang 3:

With the remaining time; we combined courts; played 5 on 5 and the 3 PAX sitting out shot around on the other court until rotating back in.

This took us right up to recover, recover.

Circle of Trust

Homer Simpson challenged us in his Ravens Nest COT months ago to name someone we wanted to re-connect with.  It came full circle for me this weekend as one of my brothers I started reaching out to; finally reached back out to me a couple days ago and brought his young 2.0 daughter down for a spur of the moment weekend road trip to stay at our house and have the kids play together with their cousins.

We passed the basketball around the circle and repeated this excercise naming someone we wanted to re-connect with.

Naked Man Moleskin

Trifecta graced us with his presence today for his 1st ever Saturday Colosseum BC post. About time and glad to have you brother!

Fun was had by all and best yet; no one got injured.
