Introduction

Signed up to Q after Second Best called me out in the Q challenge and he couldn’t even show up this morning…apparently he had to shave his dog.

Warm-O-Rama

  • Motivators from 6
  • Arm Circles (IC to 10)
  • Tappy Taps (IC to 10)
  • Motivators from 6
  • Calf Stretch (10 count that Dauber refused to count down from 10 in Spanish)

The Thang

Indian ran from the path behind the pool, down Meadow and ran over the hill to the parking lot.

11’s:

  • Started with Squrls > bear crawled up the hill to 1st cone and did 3 burpees > bear crawled to 2nd cone and did hand-release Merkins > bear crawled back to 1st cone and did 3 burpees > then back down the hill running and continuing 11’s.

Mary:

  • Green Sally Up – Q plays the song “Flower” by Moby. Start with your chest on the ground, and enjoy it because your chest shouldn’t touch the ground again until the song is over. When the song says “Green Sally Up” the Pax will be in the Merkin up position, and “Green Sally Down” the Pax will be in the Merkin down position. Pax will hold the down position until the next rep. It’s only 31 little reps in 3:30.
  • Pickle crunches (IC to 10)
  • Hold Plank until Recover Recover

COT – Talked about value (read something I came across):

The raw value of a 1000 gram iron bar is around $100

If you decide to make horseshoes, its value would increase to $250

If, instead, you decided to make sewing needles, the value would increase to about $70,000

If you decided to produce watch springs and gears, the value would increase to about $6 million

However still, if you decided to manufacture precision laser components out of it like ones used lithography, it’ll be worth $15 million

Your value is not just what you are made of – but above all – in what ways you can make the best of who you are.

Naked Man Moleskin

I mentioned to the PAX how I was telling my M the other day how I was excited for this workout because I was trying to make it tough (maybe not for others but for me). I told her my goal for this workout was to reach 600 active calories and at 0600 I looked at my watch and I was at 602 active calories and 686 total calories!

Special thanks to Hatchet for giving me insight and suggestions after I sent him my preliminary plan, on ways to keep the PAX more together and modifiers for those struggling with the constant bear crawls. It threw me off at first from what I intended so I had to go up the hill yesterday to re-evaluate my plan and I realized how much room there was at the top of the hill. I’m glad I adjusted!

Special shoutout to my 2.0, Dauber’s 2.0 and Dauber (for his impeccable coaching skills) for leading our boys to win the championship in our first tournament of the year! Long night last night on the baseball fields, but this 3 1/2 hours of sleep I’m on was well worth it! 🙂
