The Thang

Simple, yet fast paced ruck around the trails of Da Grizz. Went out 1.5 miles, dropped for some merkins, and returned on a similar route to get just over 3 miles in. Ended with a merkin ring of fire, keeping our ruck sacks on, with each of the 21 PAX performing 2 merkins apiece.

Circle of Trust

“If you’re going to do something, do it right.”

It’s a great motto to live by, but we must keep in mind that “right” does not always equal “perfectly”. Not everything needs to be done perfectly, and we should not let the expectation of perfection slow us down from accomplishing tasks. For instance, signing up on the Q sheet. Not every workout plan needs to be “perfect”, the important part is just getting it done. We should not let perfectionism get in the way of being productive.

Also mentioned being grateful, and how it is important to take moments throughout the day to think about what we are grateful for, and as that practice becomes a habit, our happiness will increase. We took a moment of silence for PAX to reflect on what they were grateful for.

Naked Man Moleskin

What a beautiful morning to explore the trails at Da Grizz. YHC was humbled by the # of PAX that came out to support my 3rd Q (maybe they just showed up for the ruck, nice weather, and beautiful scenery), but YHC is grateful either way! 🙂

Jellystone, thanks for the Q call out. It’s the motivation I needed to get on the Q sheet, and now have 2 more Q’s coming up the week after next.

Cowbell thanks for having the 6, and YellowPages thanks for providing the 3 mile route.
