Introduction
Squid and I were talking awhile back about how Run Clubs and I don’t really mesh, it just isn’t my thing. I enjoy picking up heavy things and putting them down. BUT, F3 has taught me to embrace the uncomfortable and if its something I don’t like, its probably good for me. Thats running…for me at the very least.
Warm-O-Rama
Quick WOR including calf stretch, some Daisy pickers and chop your feet while we go through core principles, Creedo, Mission Statement.
Run!
The Thang
4 mile loop. The first run club I ever attended, Squidward was on Q and we ran this loop. I struggled. Today, I still struggled but not as much. Ran with Millville, he kept the pace up and we decided to finish the run with a trip up and down the spine of Mt. Wood before back to the flags. LaRussa is one hell of site Q, he and Stilletos crushed this loop. LaRussa stuck by his side the whole time and continued to encourage him.
Circle of Trust
We joined up with the Black Diamond Run Club crew for COT and Prayer. Squid led us in the COT with words of wisdom: “what are you running from?”. Check out his BB for all the details. I led the group in prayer and Flag pic was taken. Appreciate your leadership and words Squid.
Naked Man Moleskin
Run clubs still are not my favorite but I will continue to post at them. I will continue to push myself and urge you all to do the things that are uncomfortable. I’ll be honest, I grabbed this Q because I was tired of seeing the same PAX Q run clubs. If you don’t think you can do a run club, you are wrong. I appreciate the Pax that came out and the BD crew that allowed us to join together for COT and prayer. Keep pushing men, don’t get complacent.
