Introduction

Prior to workout I reached out to Sparkler and said he has the first wildcard today. At any point if Millville yells “woo” like Rick Flare, Sparkler gets to lead us immediately in 15 burpees. Even if we are in the middle of doing burpees.

Warm-O-Rama

Started off with blockies on my down as I explained the core principles and such.

Next was motivators from 7.

Then we did some Tappy taps, arm circles and Abe vigotas to stretch out the muscles.

Following the WOR we ran our coupons over to station 2 to drop them off by the bathrooms. We then jailbroke it to the pavilion to start that Thang!

The Thang

Station 1 – 20 Dirkins

we had 5 penalty burpees because Storm Chaser didn’t show up.

– then group 1 ran off with 60# sandbags on backs to the bathrooms and back while group 2 did murder bunnies by the pavilion.
– then we switched

We jail broke it to the bathroom area

Station 2 – Lunge walking with coupons then wall sit with coupons for 1 min.

Then we did a SlingShot run about 1/3 mile to the lights at the opposite end of the path down near the condos to station 3.

Station 3 – Bear crawl 5 yards perform 3 burpees repeat 7 times for 21 burpees in total. Pop quiz asked to Millville “how many burpees did we just do” his guess was 30 which was incorrect so we had penalty burpees to perform. About 6-7 in Millville made a “Woo” so Sparkler yelled Switzer and took over leading us in 15 more burpees.

Then we did another Slingshot run to the next cone that was placed 150 yards shy of the pavilion before the turn. 1/3 mile again. From there we performed 20 Catalina Wine Mixers.

Then we jail broke it back to pavilion for round 2.

We completed round 2 in full all over again.

After round 2 we did 30 Dirkins and then completed stations 1 and 2 in full. After the wall sit with coupons we went to circle back up where we did 10 blockies to conclude the workout.

Circle of Trust

The only bird that dares to peck an eagle is the crow. The crow sits on the Eagles back and bites his neck. The eagle does not attempt to shake it off or fight it. It doesn’t spend his time or energy on the small nuisance. Instead it just open its wings and begins to rise higher into the sky. The higher the flight, the harder it is for the crow to breathe and hold on until it eventually falls off due to a lack of oxygen.

Learn from the eagle and don’t spend your time fighting crows. Just keep ascending. They may be along for a ride in the beginning but they’ll soon fall off. Do not allow yourself to succumb to these petty distractions. Keep your focus on the things above and keep rising.

Naked Man Moleskin

Weather was perfect 29 degrees and light winds. We got 2 plus miles of running and 79 burpees in today in addition to everything else. It was fun, hard, and I’ll run this one back.
