The Thang
- In field at DMZ, set up 6 lights/cones in a zig zag pattern between 80 and 120 yds in distance.
- At each cone, place a paper with two exercises with a multiplier next to each (x#)
- Split group into teams of 2-4 players. Teams will start spread out if possible (shotgun)
- With LED golf ball, teams play alternate shot (planking when not running or hitting), keeping track of the number of shots it takes to reach the next cone. At any point, the team can choose to bear crawl to the cone to finish the hole (this doesn’t count as a shot). When you finish a hole, team must complete the listed exercises together (in cadence), using their score for that hole times the multiplier to determine the rep count for each exercise.
- Merkins (x6), gas pumpers (x10)
- Grady corns (x10), big boys (x10)
- Burpees (x3), squats (x10)
- Carolina Dry Docks (x7), No surrenders (x5)
- Moroccan Night Clubs (x10), Lunges (x10, one per leg)
- Shoulder taps (x5, 4 count), scissor kicks (x5, 4 count)
- Play continues until Mary. Team with lowest 6-hole score wins.
Circle of Trust
The Sur-Ser Continuum is real. Survivors are the men that have capsized their boats and are flailing in the water, unable to help anyone but possibly themselves – and even that is difficult. Those who have Prepared for the Flux and gotten Right themselves are steady in the boat, able to be Servants to others for a higher cause. We all need to strive to be further toward the Ser side of the continuum.
Naked Man Moleskin
Gopher nearly lost his wedge on hole #2, throwing it further than the ball travelled. Guess we should have accounted for that!!
