Introduction
Arrived early, 20 minutes before the BC to set up out on the track/field but the wind wasn’t having it. I think I ran a mile before the BC as I was chasing down the cones and sheets of exercises around the track from the wind. I had to improvise by placing chunks of snow on the sheets. Needless to say I was late to start WoR.

Circle of Trust
Today is my youngest son Estevan’s birthday, he turned 17 and I wanted to dedicate today’s BC to him. My oldest son David has given nicknames to everyone and everything since he was young. He calls me The Old Guy, or papa, he calls our dogs Max/Ruby, pinky and patchy, and growing up, he called my youngest son Estevan, Octagon, hence the BC the Octagon of Pain. I did not make this up, I just came across it on the F3 Nation’s Lexicon and thought it was perfect to run and that’s why I grabbed the Q and ran it today on his Birthday.
It’s hard letting go of our kids, I miss the days of being able to pick them up and giving them hugs. I miss the days of playing with them outside, coaching them, watching them play in sports. I try and give them hugs now and they push me away and say I’m being weird…lol My advice to the men of the group that still have young one’s at home is to cherish the time with their young ones because they grow up fast and before you know it they’re gone.

As I pulled into the parking lot I realized that the BD was also at TO. Depending on where they did their BC I was ready to call and audible and set up in the parking lot if they took the track and field. Fortunately it worked out for both boot camps. Thanks again to Dear Abby for starting WoR, and thank you to Depends for having my 6!
