Introduction
Snow fell most of the previous day and into the night, so I expected it and planned accordingly. I arrived about 10 minutes early and did a quick run around the short lap to check the trails, and confirmed with the EC runners what I had expected, all was good! Trails had a little snow, but were plowed earlier in the day. In fact the trails were WAY better than the main lot, which was covered in slush, puddles, and really needed some attention.
Warm-O-Rama
We circled up in normal spot, but lot was less than ideal, so YHC quickly asked PAX to grab their coupons and to circle up in open field near trail. This would keep us dry, for the time being…
PAX did OYO SSH while I did disclaimer, core principals, mission, and credo, then
Tappy Taps x10 IC

The Thang
Thang 1 – Indian Run
During count off, I asked PAX to remember their number. We then broke into two semi-equal teams.
Team 1 were asked to do 10 YOY burpees to allow Team 2 a head start. This spaced out the columns to keep us from crowding each other.
Team 2 lined up on trail and completed Indian run around big loop. Once Team 2 returned, we owed 10 burpees.
Thang 2 – No Run Dora
P1: 50 Burpees; P2: Big Boys
P1: 100 Merkins; P2: Flutter Kicks
P1: 150 OHP; P2: Plank Jack

P1: 250 Curls; P2: LBC
P1: 300 Squats; P1: Various Plank Hold – PAX Choice
Note: Teams to work together to chip away at reps for the indicated P1 exercise. Partner does P2 abs movement until it is their turn to jump in. Teams are to watch each others form, and decide when to switch. Ab Reps do NOT count.

Quote:
“I dont want to get to the end of my life and find that I have just lived the length of it. I want to have lived the width as well” – Diane Ackerman
I came across this quote last night and it inspired my CoT. For me this means to live in the moment. Many of us, including myself, wish the length of our lives away. The kid saying they cant wait to be an adult, or the adult saying they cant wait until next week, next month, or next year, are all wishing the length of their lives away. I am guilty of this and hope to make a conscious effort to live the “width” of my life by living in the moment, unplugging, and being present for the people I am around.
Naked Man Moleskin
Great effort by all this morning, but shout out to Flo who is working hard at getting back into fighting condition. Thank you Den Mother for the delicious coffee and for having my SIX. SYITG
