Recently ran across a YouTuber named Chadd Wright. Retired Navy Seal. I think his journey and message will resonate with many, if not all of us. (https://youtu.be/UzGBv8weNu0?si=IsWUdpqgL5yb9i9W)
At the very end of his documentary of his 250 mile ultramarathon race (https://youtu.be/Y8rf0JlzKdE?si=r-PmlcpwvBhJpg9J) Chadd talked about the One Mile Out Mindset. It made an impression on me so I shared it with the PAX in attendance
The One Mile Out Mindset
The one mile out mindset acknowledges that the final steps of any journey are the most difficult especially when the goal is so close but there is still work left to do
In that last mile you are most likely to slip or settle for less either physically, mentally or both
The last repetition that you need to do to build a new level of physical strength will always be the hardest rep
That last lifestyle change that you need to make likely involves breaking your worst bad habit
The last deal that you need to make to achieve the breakthrough in your business is the most difficult to navigate especially when you’re tired, when you feel beat
You’ve already come so far and worked so hard but it’s the last mile that counts. You must run that last mile well with all of your strength and effort or your goals will never be reached
It’s in the last mile where the greatest achievements or the greatest failures are made
Great push by all the PAX in attendance! Every workout you participate in will be as hard or as easy as you make it!!! Don’t get up for easy!
