4 Stations Beatdown, with 1 set up at each corner of the track at The Mighty O
Stations 1 and 2 (the northern 2 corners) were coupon stations, Stations 3 and 4 were no coupons. PAX were split into 4 groups of 7, with 1 group starting at each of the 4 stations.
Each station had 4 rounds of exercises. Do the exercise then run the 100 yd to the next cone. Each round was additive to the last (Rd 2 required the Rd 1 AND Rd 2 exercises, and so on).
We got in as many stations as we could before MARY.

It’s early in Reindeer Games, still week 1. New thing for many of us, for me it’s new being a Captain and I’m still searching for exactly what that means. I wanted to share the message that I shared with my team after the Convergence but before the start of this week. It was a moment that I was fully geared up for Reindeer Games, pumped – and I wanted to ground myself on what Reindeer Games is really about.
1. It’s about Fitness. It’s about accelerating and pushing yourself to find new capabilities you didn’t know you had. When you do this in the gloom – and find out you have more in you than you believed – this will translate to other aspects of your life. This helps you learn that you can do more.
2. It’s about Fellowship. It’s about being part of a unique group of men – your team – that will depend on each other, support each other, and push each other to be more than the sum of your parts. When you do this in the gloom, and experience it from your team members, it will translate to other areas of your life.
3. It’s about Faith. Faith in yourself, faith in your team, and faith in your Sky Q. It’s about giving back to your community in new ways and more often. When you do this in the gloom, you will realize how powerful faith is, and how easy it is to give back – it will translate to other areas of your life.
Reindeer Games is not just about F3. It’s not about points. Those are the tools, the vehicle – the means to an end. That end – the true value of Reindeer Games – is learning about yourself. That you can do more, you need others, you can help others, and you can give back. The impact of those lessons will not end at the end of The Games, they will extend to all the areas of your life.
