The Thang

We took the fun to the hill. On the pool side of the hill we did 20 chest press and 20 skull crushers and then ran up the hill. At the top we did 5 merkins and continued down the hill to a ladder of cones in the field. Each cone we did 5 mucho legos and 5 big boys and increased our reps by 5 each time we went up the ladder.

After each cone you went back up the hill did your merkins, and then back to  upon work by the path.

We went OYO until Mary.

Circle of Trust

When I think back about my last 3 years a lot of things come to mind. What life was like before F3 vs the present has greatly improved. There are too many men to name who have had an impact on my journey, but they know who they are. Like many of you here the 1st F got me hooked. I  started a week before reindeer games and had no clue that I was drafted. JFD added me to a channel I had no idea how to use and all he told me was to keep showing up( which I did everyday for because I didn’t know better). It wasn’t until I  broke my leg that I  found what this group was truly about. The glue as we talk about it was that 2nd and 3rd F that keep me engaged when I couldn’t post. The friendships and bonds created during this time were second to none.  3 reindeer games, Xmas parties, drinks, EC rucks/runs, a Grow Ruck training event, being a site Q, a member of SLT and so forth has been life changing. I do more now for the men next to me each morning than myself because I  have experienced the power of this group. It is now my turn to continue to help those who were like me when I  first started and support them on their journey. Meeting the FNGs, seeing newer pax accelerate, supporting a pax in need is what keeps me waking up and coming back each day. I am not sure where I  would be without this group, but I  can tell you I like what this group has helped me become. I am a better man today than I was yesterday and I will be a better man tomorrow then I was today.

Naked Man Moleskin

There was a ton of energy at the ridge this morning and we had a good group. Things always get interesting when Yellow Card travels up north for a post!
