Modifications
1 Burpee – Run up the hill for 10 SSH
start heading back to the flags 6 minutes before 7:30 for Mary.
Mary – The initial plan is below
Colt 45’s
10 Squirrel Thrusters
the “Blinky” 1 Round
We ended up having time to do two burpees instead. It took us longer than I had anticipated to get back. Cowbell did something to his ankle on uneven ground and wasn’t moving that good on it. I asked him to set the pace for our return trip to the flags. I kept saying. Mary could just be this our Mosey back. I didn’t want to put any pressure on him to move at any pace that he wasn’t comfortable with.
Circle of Trust
I talked about finding my why at my Q yesterday. So briefly mentioned that my “why” is my kids. I am a lead by example type of person. Consequently I am in a constant state of getting right… The “Get Right” Quadrant. Leading by example is my version of “lead” right. The other two quadrants are almost the same to me. I don’t think it is hard to talk about “Leave Right.” I am not going to deny the inevitable. I don’t really want to talk about dying either. “Leave Right” is all about Legacy. Today is the only gift we have and this moment in time is called the “Present” to honor this gift. Today is the most important moment in time. Take some time today to find your “why.” Take some time today to consider your reputation. We are constantly trying to be the right person for ourselves and others. Whether we are trying to live right for ourselves or others. Today and everyday that follows will shape your legacy. How do you want to be remembered?
Naked Man Moleskin
I enjoy smaller groups because you get a chance to actually talk to the few people that were there and we got into some good ones. Yellow Pages and I talked Lockport, the history of hauntings at Da Griz, and other Porter stuff. I was curious about Cowbell’s Q that I read about on the 6th because it sounded like they were in a haunted house and….
He led the group through part of the haunted house at Da Griz in the dark. I could only hope he had Heavy Metal playing. Both Men’s account of Friday gave yhc fomo. Cowbell and I discussed music, guitars, and he shared some YouTube stuff on his band. It was cool to see him Growling and picking while Slinky was destroying his double bass on his set.
