Introduction

Got to the AO early to set up the cones and get organized. The field was wet but the temperature was cool – perfect weather conditions.

Warm-O-Rama

No WOR. Ran through a quick demonstration of the routine and exercises.

The Thang

The Thang

  • Set EMOM timer for 5-minutes. Perform 3 Kraken burpees every time the timer goes off during the workout. Kraken Burpee is 3 hand release merkins and then a burpee. Perform the burpee after the 3rd hand release merkin.

  • Murder Bunny 10yds to 1st cone and perform 10 thrusters
  • Bear crawl back to start and perform 5 perfect merkins
  • Run back to block, Murder Bunny 10yds to the 2nd cone, and perform 15 thrusters

Circle of Trust

I talked about how it is important to take care of your health outside of the Gloom so gains you make there are not wasted. I described how I had gotten into the habit of eating too much fast food and not drinking enough water. I thought the gains I make in the morning wiould balance out the poor health decisions I was making. This hit me when I went to the dr. this week for my annual physical and found out I have high blood pressure. I had always had good blood pressure so this surprissed and scared me.

Bottom line – take care of all aspects of your physical and mental health!
