Introduction
This was the second stop in my tour of AO’s this week to commemorate my 100th post. I designed a workout where the number 100 is prominently featured and I’m Q’ing at 3 different AO’s this week to share the beat down with as many of my F3 brothers as possible.
Warm-O-Rama
Tappy Taps: In cadence to 10
Abe Vigodas: In cadence to 10
Motivators from 6
Tai Fighters: In cadence 10 forward and 10 backward
The Thang
There are 10 exercises sequenced to easily transition from 10 reps of one to 10 reps of the next without stopping. Total of 100 reps OYO. The 10 exercises were:
Bent Over Rows => Curls => Squats => Overhead Press => Calf Raises => Coupon Dips => Pull Ups => Scissors Kicks (2 ct) => Chest Press => Leg Lifts
After going through the sequence, run 100 yards. (This was a modification based on feedback from the Pax yesterday at The Wood where we did the sequence of exercises twice before running. I personally like doing it today better and feel like I got a better workout.)
Rinse and repeat 10 times to complete 100 reps of each of the 10 exercises. I think a few PAX got to 9 times thru.
After a light rain, Mary was held by the flags. If anyone shirt wasn’t wet yet, it was now:
Pickle Pushers: In Cadence to 10
4-Count Leg Lift (Up-Spread-Together-Down): In cadence to 10
Leg Elevators (From 6″ to 18″ and hold for 4 count): In cadence to 10
Big Boys: 25R
Ring of Fire with 2 Merkins
Circle of Trust
Last week a FNG asked “What is a PAX?” We explained that it is a military term and that basically he is a PAX, we are each a PAX, together we are the Pax. There is no singular and no plural, it’s just a term used to refer to each of us and all of us.
That seemed to satisfy the FNG, but I am a curious person so I wanted to find out more. I searched all over the F3Nation website and couldn’t find jack. It just kept coming up in the lexicon and exicon anytime it was used, but never an explanation of “PAX” itself. So I googled it. That came up with some references to PAX as an abbreviation for “passengers” in the travel industry and some military title acronyms for Personnel Administrative something-or-other.
Needless to say, YHC was not satisfied so I have come up with my own interpretation.
I took 4 years of Latin in High School. “Pax” is Latin for “Peace”. The opposite of peace is not war, it’s chaos and anarchy. War is a means to achieve peace. Under the unvirtuous leader, this peace that comes from war is characterized by conquest and oppression. Under the virtuous leader, the peace that comes from war leads to freedom and liberty. Either way, the individual soldier is an instrument of peace, ie a Pax. The unit is a Pax, the brigade is a Pax, the entire army is a Pax.
The mission of F3 is to invigorate male community leadership. When you see an opportunity in your community, whether it’s the smallest concentrica of your family or moving out to your work group, your neighborhood, HOA, City or village or even county, state or country, step up and step in to lead virtuously.
Be the instrument of peace in your community. Be the PAX.

We forgot to do a count after Warm-o-rama. Site Q and I shared AAR on that one, but @BobVila consoled us that it is more important with a bigger group that is going to be separated for the the Thang.
We had a FNG brought out by @Juanita. He is married with two boys, 6 and 8. Works in construction. Is motivated to come to F3 workout so he can keep up with his boys as they get bigger. For fun, he shoots competitively in Air Rifle competitions so we named him @PeaShooter.
