Introduction
5:00am the cars started pulling in the lot. It was raining and coming down sideways. We planted the flags by the pavilion and organized the picnic tables for our workout.

The Thang
The Chad 1000 a Hero Workout that is dedicated to Navy Seal Chad Wilkinson who took his life on October 29, 2018 due to the effects of numerous deployments, several TBIs, and PTSD. Our goal is to honor Chad’s life and legacy and to raise awareness for suicide prevention. The workout is 1000 step up with a weighted ruck or vest.
Circle of Trust
The weight we had in our ruck sacks or vest doesn’t compare to the weight and stress on our veterans who consistently are asked to provide the freedoms we enjoy each and every day. My CoT carried over in marking the 22nd year anniversary of the September 11th attacks, we mourn the people we have lost and extend our sympathy to their families and loved ones. We also express the gratitude for those who sacrificed both home and abroad to keep us safe. My wife and I visited the 9-11 memorial and where grateful we did. Just to see it up and personal gave you a perspective that was somber and really taken back. The way that NYC pulled together was not only amazing but really grabs at your heart strings. Going thru the museum at the memorial really walked you thru that day. I will never forget that day.
