Introduction

We picked this date a couple weeks back, and of course, since it hasn’t rained in about a month, it decides to thunderstorm on us during the beatdown.  Both Qs had to make adjustments on the fly to stay underneath the pavilion to stay safe from the lighting.

Warm-O-Rama

  • Den Mother led us in a 5-minute warm-up, and handed off the reigns to Mr. Belding.

The Thang

Mr. Belding’s Q:

  • Thang 1: AMRAP thrusters with 3 burpees every 30-seconds.
  • Thang 2: 11s with step-ups and derkins with a mosey between sets.

Chum Bucket’s Q:

  • Coupon exercise (40 reps), followed by a movement around the pavilion, followed by a bodyweight core exercise (ICx10) for 5 rounds.
  • Coupon exercises were curls, chest press, goblet squats, love sacks.
  • Movements were forward lunge, duck walk, bunny hops, reverse lunge, bear crawl.
  • Core moves were squat heel taps, swimmer high planks, deconstructed big boys, dolphins.
