Introduction

It was a Monday morning at the OG AO, what more can you ask for???

Warm-O-Rama

Since this was a QvQ, OctoMom took the PAX through some WoR exercises before handing the reigns over to Old Maid.

The Thang

Old Maid split the PAX into two teams. Each team worked their way through a list of exercises while one team member from each team went to WAR by picking 5 cards and, literally, relived childhood memories by playing best of 5 cards thrown. The team that lost suffered through 5 burpees, while the winning team was awarded 5 merkins. We repeated this until it was time to handoff to Squidward.

Squidward had the PAX competing in Squid Game.

For thang 1, we separated into 4 teams. Two team members were charged with bear crawling up Mt. Ridge while working together to drag a 60# sandbag to a cone halfway up the hill. The other two team members remained at the bottom of the hill where they performed SSH until their team mates reached the halfway point. Once their team mates were at the halfway point, they sprinted up the hill to relieve them, dragging the sandbag the remainder of the way. Once the second group of team mates reached the top, they ran back down the hill with the sandbag with the main goal of not finishing last. The last place team was removed and the competition was repeated until a winner was crowned.

For thang 2 we moseyed over to the basketball court where we circled up and played a game of “Squid Says” – a nod to Simon Says. As PAX were eliminated, they moved outside of the circle and executed different exercises until we finished with 4 remaining competitors.

Circle of Trust

Old Maid and Squidward shared words of wisdom and motivation.

Naked Man Moleskin

QvQ has been a great platform in producing some pretty tough and creative workouts. I love seeing what fellow PAX can dream up to keep us engaged!
