The Thang

Thang 1: Farmers split the PAX into two groups and had them play capture the flag. He armed everyone up with water balloons and noted that anyone hit by a balloon was out of the game and had to do penalty exercises before returning to the game. Overall, the men had a great time!

Thang 2: SQUID GAME

– Red Light/Green Light: PAX lined up at one end of a defined area and one randomly picked PAX, aka he who is “it”, lines up at the other end. When the person who is “it” turned away from the PAX, he says the name of an exercise that can be used to move forward (ex: bear crawl, run, hop on one leg, lunge, low crawl, etc) along with the phrase “green light”. For example, “Bear crawl, green light!” When the person who is “it” turns their back to the PAX, the PAX then make their way toward the “it” person using the movement called out. The goal of the “it” person is to catch PAX moving by yelling “red light” at the same they turn around to face the PAX. PAX who are caught still moving are considered eliminated and must move to the end with the “it” person where they will execute an exercise determined by the “it” person. The game progresses until a PAX either crosses the line of the “it” person or until all PAX are eliminated.

– Plank duck duck goose – PAX hold high plank as the person who is “it” goes around the outside of the circle. Once “goose” is called the person who was tagged as “goose” chases the “it” person around the circle. If they catch the “it” person, then the “it” person is eliminated from the game and does an exercise as determined by the Q. If the “it” person is able to get around the circle and back to the spot vacated by the chaser, the chaser now becomes the “it” person.
