Circle of Trust

“As an adult, there are few things in life that bring me as much joy as hearing the music from the ice cream truck coming down the street. It’s like a sudden burst of childhood nostalgia that transports me back to simpler times. And so, when I hear that familiar tune, I drop everything and run outside like a kid again.

The sound of the ice cream truck music is like a siren call, beckoning me to come and indulge in a little bit of happiness. It’s the promise of a cold, sweet treat on a hot summer day. And as I join the throngs of excited kids and adults crowding around the truck, I can’t help but feel a sense of community and shared delight.

In a world where stress and responsibility often weigh us down, the simple pleasure of chasing after the ice cream man is a reminder to let loose and enjoy the moment. And so, I’ll keep running outside whenever I hear that music, knowing that for a few brief minutes, I can forget my worries and embrace the childlike joy of the ice cream truck”

The Ice Cream drives around our neighborhood and my kids get excited to hear the music, but he’s never come down our block.  A few days ago he finally did and I’ve never seen them so excited.  It Trumped Birthdays, Christmas, etc.

My wife made a comment that I wish I got excited over something as much as The Ice Cream Truck.

I do.  I truley do.
