Introduction

I was able to take this Q to help our fellow PAXs bunker out who is still feeling ill. We had some severe weather the night before. And with it being April fools day, I thought it would be fun to challenge the Men during COT to tell something about themselves, and the rest of the Men would have to determine if it was fact or fiction.

Warm-O-Rama

Toe Reach – 10 sec

The Thang

We divided into two groups. The man in position one through 60 pounds on their back. And we started to rock towards Mountwood. Every light poke we passed the sand back to the pax behind.

when we reach the backside of Mountwood. We partnered up. While one pax bear crawled to the top, at the bottom their partner did sets of 10 both squats and Merkins, the other partner, then crawl Bear crawled  back down. We rinsed and repeated for two full sets.
The MEN then continued their sandbag March. Where we scaled to the top of Mountwood along the spine. At the top I circled the men, arms around each other’s shoulders and we perform air squats as a group in cadence for 15 reps.

we then continued the sandbag march down the spine, we circled out towards the small mounds along the road side. I had the men lineup, we did incline Merkins for 10 on the small hill. Then we did lunges up against the hill 10 each leg, followed by bear crawl to the top, spun around and crawl bear down, repeating this twice up and over.
we continued our sandbag march. Around the park around the main parking lot. And over to the pavilion nearest the lake. At this point I had THE MEN perform creepers for 10 OYO before continuing the March around lake wood.
now the fun begins. I brought landscape pavers for each of the PAX. We circled up and did the following.

curls into overhead press 20

Both arms out alternating down, then back up front dealt raises. Ended with 5 both arms.

Alternating sky reaches. We use the pavers and kept our Roxanne. We did this in cadence for 10.

Side lateral raises with a hold at the top in cadence for 15

lying flies with leg raise and cadence for 20

bent over rear deltoids for 15

around the worlds in cadence for 10

Goofballs for 1 as it the clock hit 7:30am

 

 

 

Circle of Trust

COT was so much fun. As mentioned above, each of the men shared an interesting fact about themselves. Somewhere true somewhere fiction. Being April fools day we had to guess what was what. Got to learn a lot about each other and had fun doing it.

I would like to thank all the men who came out in the shitty weather today to get a little bit better. I appreciated the AAR and all the positivity and close proximity, we had to each other during the Ruck Club. I would definitely do it again. Squidword, thank you for having my six.
