Jellystone and I have been talking a lot about unification. Read the following joint CoT
MEN, Thank you all for supporting my Q here at TR. You all had lots of great options this morning, but you chose Good Ole Yellowcard, and for that I am grateful.
My time in F3 has impacted me in so many amazing ways. One of which is how I view and interact with the world around me. With so much negativity, turmoil, and chaos on display everywhere I find it easier than ever to get absorbed into these things. Whether it was sharing a political MEME, or repeating a tasteless joke, I found myself not raising above the deconstructive habits this negativity brought. These things seem simple and harmless, but F3 has me telling myself to stop being less. I know I can be better, and do better, and feel that as leaders, that we need to bring unity and acceptance into our circles, through inclusion and tolerance, and it all starts in the gloom.
As you all know, F3 Plainfield has seen explosive growth over the last year. With the opening of new AOs and continued growth at the existing AO’s we now have PAX representation from Naperville, Plainfield, Channahon, Shorewood, Minooka, Elwood, Kankakee, Crest Hill, Lockport, Joliet and other surrounding communities. The more we grow, and the wider our outreach becomes, the more diverse the backgrounds and perspectives of the MEN we are leading will also become.
One of my favorite quotes I use often is “Open Minds Saves Lives”. Let’s grow, lets adapt, and lets stay unified to cure sad clown syndrome where and when we can. AYE?
