Circle of Trust
My VQ was a year and two days prior to this Q. It was the day after the war in Ukraine broke out. I scrapped the COT I had planned then and used that time to pray for a quick end to the war and minimal loss of life. A year later the was still goes on and 10’s of thousands have died. In addition, most Americans, including myself to some degree, know little about the war now. The passage of time and trappings of daily life has limited the news stories and caused us to forget, or at least, become immune, to the suffering of others. As I did a year earlier, I used this time to remind ourselves to pray for the inoncent people in desperate need, for peace, and for our service men and women who keep us safe.

The rain finanlly came back at 5:57. No worries though – we finished Mary under the pavilion.
