Introduction
So I almost fartsacked this Q. Set my alarm for 5:45, turned it off, and fell back asleep. Woke up at 6:20. Put my contacts in, there on clothes, and jumped in the car. Thank goodness The Ridge is 3 minutest away. Planted a flag and got to the center of the parking lot right at 630.
Warm-O-Rama
It was only 5 Putt and Vern and they did EBC. We were basically just going to be running. We skipped warm-o-rama and got on the move.
The Thang
Pearls on a string and stopping for 25 air squats periodically. Ran through Dunmore, onto 135th, through the dog park, back through Dunmore, and into Grande park on the trail by the pond. We got the end of the trail just before crossing the street into Grande Park and ran into Blue Gill. He joined the fun. Did a big loop back to the flags. Total of 5 miles and probably 250 air squats.
Circle of Trust
Talked about shared goals with your family at the start of the year. I remember last year when ironically enough Vern talked about doing this with his family. Thought this was really awesome and added it recently to the revised 8 Block.
This year my family has committed to doing an activity together on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month. Once we agreed to this the girls wrote ideas on post it notes, folded them up, and placed them in a mason jar. The agreement is that each of us will rotate responsibility to select and organize what we are going to do next. I’ve added this to my 8 Block and am really looking forward to this.
If others haven’t done this, I would suggest that they sit down with their families and agree on 1-2 goals that we support each other to achieve. AYE!
Naked Man Moleskin
I always enjoy a small group like this. Lots of conversation. Hadn’t worked out with 5 Putt and Vern recently. Good to catch up with these guys.
