The Thang

Thang 1

One partner does the exercise at station 1 until the other partner returns.  The route to station 2 is 50 bear crawls then run to station two where you do 50 jump ropes and run back to where you ended bear crawls but lunge walk back to the beginning.  Switch.  Each partner does each exercise once at station one but you are doing the same exercise the whole time until they return.  No counting.

Thang 2

Triangle station setup. Both partners start at the bottom corner of triangle.  One farmer carries across the shorter bottom side while the other runs out to the point of triangle and does 5 merkins at the cone and runs down the other long side of triangle to meet the farmer carry partner at the station.  Switch and reverse route.  Rinse and repeat.

Circle of Trust

For my COT, I want to start with this quote “We do no learn from experience.  We learn from reflecting on experience”

As we near the end of 2022, I look back at a big year of self growth and acceleration for me.  I’ve also made mistakes and have learned from them.  A big part of my self growth over the past year involves taking the time to self evaluate.  Kind of like an internal AAR on myself.  We all make good and bad choices daily.  Making mistakes are ok.  Accept them and learn from them or you will repeat the mistake again in the future.  If you make a mistake in your personal life or work life, own the mistake and move on.  Don’t try to shove the blame or make excuses.  Just own it and apologize if you have to or come up with a solution to fix it and then move on.

My challenge to you is to think of a time lately when you made a mistake.  Did you own up and accept the responsibility or did you make excuses like I did what ever it was but I did that because someone else did this or that?  IF you were an excuse person, then make a point to own up for it.  Go talk to the person or people involved and then next time own you mistake without an excuse.

Aye?
