Introduction

The “Murph” is a tough workout – but anything is possible if you break it down into smaller parts.

Warm-O-Rama

SSH (20), Good Mornings (10), Abe Vigodas(10), Short mosey

The Thang

This workout consisted of a round of exercises.

 

Round 1 – 10 rows with coupon, 20 merkins, 30 squats, 400 meter run around the lot.

Round 2 – rinse and repeat

Round 3 – rinse and repeat  (pattern is emerging)

Pax were given of a goal of completing 10 rounds.  Spirit was able to complete all 10 rounds.  Dilly Dilly got through the exercises in round 10, just not the run.

If you add up the exercises, it comes to 100 pulls (not quite a pull-up, but close enough with 26 PAX), 200 merkins, 300 squats, and 2.5 miles running.

Anything is possible when you break it down into parts…

 

Circle of Trust

The COT focused on giving thanks.  In particular, the brothers that put together the first Turkey Trot were mentioned.  The brothers that are taking the time to serve as captains for Reindeer Games were mentioned.  The brothers that have pushed me for almost two years to continue to come out every morning and get better were mentioned.  It is the time of year to make extra efforts to give thanks and all were encouraged to do so.

Prayers were shared for El Dinghy’s mom and everyone traveling this holiday season, or welcoming family and friends that are traveling.

Huge thanks for the music this morning so that 26 Pax did not have to listen to each other by the time we got to rounds 3-10 of the workout….
