Introduction

To say it was cold was an understatement!  With Reindeer Games closing out Week 2 I knew we would have a herd of PAX getting their points and YHC didn’t want to freeze them out by standing around!  It’s been a minute since YHC Q’d an EBC and I was looking forward to the challenge.

Warm-O-Rama

Covered the F3 Mission, the core principle’s ,and the credo we got a head count and then we moseyed to the basketball courts to get out of cold brisk wind for a moment.  At the courts the PAX performed SSH’s Good Mornings, Tappy Taps, and more SSHs.  The PAX counted off by 2’s

Had 1’s line up across from 2’s so PAX can touch each other’s shoulders.  With Pax in plank facing each other.  merkin in unison and on up move reach out and tap right hand to left shoulder, repeat merkin with left hand tap to partners right shoulder –  that equals one full merkin.  As we had an odd number of PAX  that pax does double the merkins.  We did one set of 10, some motivators or SSH (can’t recall) that then moved out to the frigid cold, wind blown soccer field to do the main Thang

The Thang

At the soccer field, PAX form two lines  1s on one side and 2s on other side facing each other while in plank, each side had 3 lights directly behind them at varied distance.  While in plank, YHC called out specific repetitions/movement and the specific light to move to and then issued the command exercise.  At Exercise, the PAX run directly out from  line  to specified light and perform movement and reps and then return to starting line and hold plank.  Once 6 is in repeat with new movement, reps, and distance.  YHC alternated between short and mid and long distance lights.  At one point, YHC called out a few PAX to call out the next interval. At around 0553, the PAX finished the last interval. By picking up the lights and moving to the flags.  Mary consisted of burpees and air squats in cadence

Circle of Trust

Piggy backed off a recent COT (Jellystone) I heard about taking action.  Specifically doing things for others when in the past you may have not even given it a second though.

You’ve heard the phrase, treat your neighbor as yourself.  So you may think, Yeah I know I’m supposed to love my neighbor but who exactly is my neighbor?  Maybe a better question to ask is are we the type of people who love others?

So how do we love?

We love by going out of of our way to help someone else.  Love is patient and doesn’t seek its own interest over the interest of others.  Love is generous and it’s not afraid to make a sacrifice for the benefit of someone else.  Love is sacrificing what we want to do for someone else.  So our challenge is to love by going out of our way to serve someone else!  TAPs

Naked Man Moleskin

It was cold, we did hard stuff, we started warm, and that’s all I have to say about that. .  Wait, how about love generously, love compassionately, love radically!  Go serve others!
