Circle of Trust
COT message was that of being thankful.
First of all I want to thank everyone that came out to my VQ, from the bottom of my heart, it means a lot to me and I truly appreciate it. I want to thank everyman for being an inspiration, every day that I see HC’s, it inspires me and motivates me to join my brothers out in the gloom. I wanted to thank Fishsticks for posting about F3 on Facebook, without him doing so I would never have found this group. I wanted to thank Sparkler for emphasizing the meaning of dedication and commitment to one’s self. On my first day of joining F3 I get out of my truck and see this young man with a leg brace on, crutches laying next to him as he sat on his coupon doing shoulder presses with mini-coupons and I thought to myself wow!, this guy could have just woken up later in the day and done this at home, but instead he chose to be our here with these men. I wanted to thank Dear Abby for having my 6 and helping me put together and setting everything up for my VQ.
Speaking of having my 6, I want to thank all of them men that have had to pick up the 6. Everyone knows that I am not a runner and always fall behind. When I first started I felt so bad because I thought I was holding everyone back from completing their workouts so I always apologized, but my apologies were never accepted, instead every man always encouraged me and motivated me to finish the workout. If it wasn’t for you, I don’t think I would have come back out after the first week.
And finally I want to thank the leadership team, I don’t know who’s all on the leadership team, so I don’t want to start naming names as I wouldn’t want to miss anyone. But the culture that you guys have created in Naperville and here in Plainfield is fantastic. I have gone downrange and I’ve heard other pax that have traveled downrange and the feedback is always that our AO is the best, I truly believe we are 2nd to none.

Yes…My cadence was off. lol
I got lost in the moment, even went beyond my 10 count for cadence at times. I will improve, I promise!
And finally as Choco Taco likes to say: “Everyone wants to be a beast until it’s time to do what beasts do”
