Introduction

Had been wanting to do something similar to this Q for sometime and I think today was the perfect opportunity for it. The weather was perfect this morning and the numbers while a bit high we were still able to get some work done.

The Thang

We broke into 3 teams for the beatdown. We ruffled to the start of the soccer fields across from the park district building. Here each team had to indian ruck across all the soccer fields to the path. The last PAX would do 5 squats and then ruffle to catch up to his team that continued on the run.

At the path we did some pt as a group.

Grady Corns

Squats

Hand release merkins

Overhead Press

Curls

We then partnered up and farmer carried two ruck sacks down the path while the other partner did 5 merkins and ran to catch up to their partner.

When we reached the field we had some fun! We army crawled out for 1 minute before assembling in our teams. There we locked arms and did squats and lunges in cadence with our team. Next up we crab walked back to the path and assembled in our teams.

From there we Indian rucked back to the turn with our team and at the turn completed some more PT. This time we did Side Straddle Hops, Squats, and burpees.

We then again assembled in our teams and Indian rucked back to the flags.

For Mary we did Love sacks, flutter kicks, and big boys.

Circle of Trust

For my CoT I talked about making sure that we are putting our M and 2.0s first and focusing on them. Sometimes we let the stress of other things get in the way and then our relationships with our M and 2.0 suffer. I found myself stressed out last week at work and taking it out on my most important group at home. It was not their fault that I was upset and stressed and I had no right to do that. In the end a job is a job and my family is my most important. Remember what is important in our lives and make sure that is reflected in your actions each day.

Naked Man Moleskin

Kudos to Squidward for hitting failure on his crab walks back to the path and not giving up or taking any short cuts. He hit failure but pushed himself to finish what he started!

Also kudos to Daisy who came out to his first Post and is another PAX who answered the call on Facebook and came out without knowing anyway. He got after it today and is a welcomed addition to the group!
