Introduction
After Foreclosure’s VQ Tuesday at 3 Rivers, we got to talking about disc golf and how we could incorporate it into a beatdown. Right there and then, I jumped on the Qsignups app and signed up for my AOVQ at Da Grizz. Foreclosure gave me a ton a great tips for this workout, and really made this one of the easiest beatdowns to plan. We also had two FNGs come out today: Don’t Turn Left (DTL) and CHIPS.
Warm-O-Rama
I went through the disclaimer language, mission statement, credo, core principles, and then we jumped into the warm-up.

The Thang
Each PAX would take a turn throwing for a complete hole. In between each throw, we would do some form of run (forward, backwards, sideways, high knees, butt kickers, bear crawl, karaoke). We would also hold squat while the PAX was collecting their disc and lining up their next shot. At the end of each hole, we would do a different exercise, with the number of reps determined by the score (x5). If a throw went out-of-bounds, or a missed short putt, we would all do 5 penalty burpees. We never stopped moving the entire time and were able to complete 15 holes.
For Mary, we did 1 to 4 ratio of merkins – American hammers with an increase each round up to 7 / 28.
Circle of Trust
I told everyone that I’m trying to focus on all 3 aspects of F3 – fitness, fellowship, and faith. I tend to over focus on the fitness and fellowship parts, and I’m trying to focus on faith to that same level.
Naked Man Moleskin
Big shout out to Foreclosure for basically coming up with this idea and bringing all the discs out for us to use. He was able to navigate us seamlessly through all the holes as well. Special thanks to Betty Crocker for having my six and helping out the FNGs and keeping us all safe out there. Thanks to Ozark for bringing the coffee, which allowed us to spend some extra time with the FNGs afterwards and have a little fellowship.
