Introduction
Quatro decides to give a vocabulary lesson throughout the workout, preparing for the COT.
Warm-O-Rama
Mosey, with a description of Q Source and the F3 Lexicon which helps to communicate as a group. Motivators from 5, Tappy Taps (with “Tap-py-tap” used instead of 1-2-3, per Lexicon), calf stretches.
The Thang
Pearls-on-string around the Ridge, with two vocabulary words presented at each stop (while PAX held plank). Odd stop exercises were Big Boys (18 on my up), squats (18 on my down), merkins (18 on my down). Even stop exercises were LBC’s (18 on 4 count), Monkey Humpers (18 on my down), shoulder taps (18 on 4 count). The numbering was in recognition of the LIV tour golf tournament starting today at Rich Harvest Farms in Sugar Grove.

Shield Lock – The horizontal relationship between men.

Circle of Trust
Having laid down the definitions, I asked this question: are you a Pro or an Amateur? Life will bring ups and downs. We must Prepare ourselves so we can handle them like a Pro. From Q-Source 3.10 (Consistency):
“Whenever my roller coaster was in steep descent I was an insentient zombie, immune to any warning about the jolt of the bottom to which I was heading. As an Amateur, I had no Shield Lock to provide me with Accountability and Correction. Because I lacked Candor, I was unwilling to graciously receive a word of hard Truth that might have snapped me out of it. Inevitably and repeatedly I would have to suffer my own Cat Kicker–a man’s final screw-up before he hits his bottom–before I could begin ascending again.
Naked Man Moleskin
I took a chance on this workout, but I think it was well received and hope others consider doing a “Words on a String” to promote common language and participation in Q-Source.
