Introduction
Didn’t think it was going to be raining. But it was. Now is the time of year to start throwing in some layers into your trunk- rain gear, cold gear, headlamps. You never know…

The Thang
We had some bada$$ PAX that somehow showed up after 38 miles of rucking, so there were multiple groups. MASHers did their thang and those recovering from All AO Ruck somehow pushed on.
Run Club took to the path and ran to the high school overflow lot for some timed gassers and laps-
2 gassers at:
2:00 minutes
1:40m
1:25m
1 Gasser at 1:10 – Penalty if the entire team did not cross in time. There was no need for a penalty. Good work.
Ran two long laps around the entire parking lot, then ran the path back to the flags.
All in all, it was about 3 miles.
Circle of Trust
First of all, a huge thank you to the PAX that came to work out after a marathon ruck. I am humbled and impressed. Second of all, I wanted to share the importance of words. My default setting is sarcasm. And as Disco Ball shared the successes of the PAX who rucked, I began to type as smarta$$ reply to another post congratulating the men. And then I stopped. For the purpose of MAYBE getting a few laughs, I had typed up a response to crack a joke at another PAX expense, and in turn, it would have taken away from the purpose of Disco’s original post. So I delete my response. While the 2nd F of this organization has grown nearly 100 men into a tight nit brotherhood, there is a time and a place for sarcasm. I am thankful that I took a moment to think through my actions before hitting send. Words have power. Silence can be even more powerful.
Great work to any of the PAX that participated in the CSAUP ruck. Way to lead!
