The Thang
Thang One – Slingshot Run 1.5 miles (12 minutes) arrive at hill by 0525
Thang Two – Dirt Mountain WoD (15 minutes) leave by 0540
3 rounds for time of:
50-30-10 reps of Air Squats at bottom of hill
50-30-10 reps of Mountain Climbers at top of Hill (one step is one)
3 rounds up and down the hill, add two rounds of moving quickly.
Thang Three – Burpee Circle Mental Lab
Note the traffic circle by the Hill – run to Pllayground
Run the Group to the new playground at the front of Keller Farms new neighborhood.
Instruct PAX to complete at least 20 burpees OR more of their choosing and then run to the traffic circle. Tag a PAX running the circle and send them to the playground to complete 20+ burpees. Repeat until 0557.
Circle of Trust
I’ve had a lot of retirements happening around me lately and honestly I have a hard time defining what that means. Does it simply mean you never work again? Is it the next phase in your life? Why is it celebrated? Do you really ever stop working?
When do I retire as a husband, father, uncle, brother, cousin, athlete, motivator, contributor, human? The answer is humbling, it’s when you die and we never actually stop working and being providers and contributes to society.
Retirement to me is no longer being held to something because you have to, it’s because you want to.
