Introduction

The morning was a cool dry 33F with little wind.  The air was a little damp, making the 1-Mile EC a great decision.  Thanks Bedpan, Foghorn, and Pull-Up for the company.  They, like the beasts they are, did more than just 1-mile.  Well done brothers!

Circle of Trust

We often say that “We get to do this.”  This mindset is critical to staying disciplined so that we stay the course and do the things we know we need to in order to improve ourselves.  It is easy to let life’s distractions get in the way of our goals.  Something these distractions are obstacles we make for ourselves, other times these are challenges that life just throws at us.  In any case, embrace the hard thing and remember that “We get to do this”, and that it is a privilege to be sore from the work we are healthy enough to complete.  (Thank you F3CHMNWD for the quote)

This beatdown was Cosponsored by Foghorn.  Last week, during coffee, he asked me if I had any Dora workouts in the pipeline and it just so happened that I was going to be on Q at The Silo the following Monday.  After he planted the seed, this is what grew.  Thank you Foghorn for the suggestion.  I appreciate the idea brother!  Big shout out to Blue Gill, Bunker, Caboose, Pull-Up, Scratch & Dent, and Bedpan for Joining me ITG this morning, and to Scratch for having our SIX and coffee.  It isn’t very often that Monday’s Run Club at TC out numbers the HC’s for the bootcamp at The Silo, but for some reason that’s exactly what happened this morning.  Well done fellas!

AAR:

I originally had Big Boys but pivoted to 4-Count LBC’s before we got to round two.  It was pretty obvious that the timing of Big Boys would NOT work.  During AAR, it was mentioned that single count LBC’s would have been even better for timing, which was noted and I whole heartedly agree with.  It was also mentioned that the short run was appreciated.  Gave just enough time to break up the reps, but did not leave PAX doing the movement there too long.
