Naked Man Moleskin

CoT:

• Always do the Hard thing. I cannot express the pride I had for my son this past weekend.  The last 3 years he has been participating in cheerleading.  As a parent my mind is always in protect mode knowing this is not what society would call a “typical boy sport”.  His response has always been, I don’t care, it might be hard, but I want to do it.  He has worked his butt off the last few years & is more focused than I have seen him get on something.  He competed in his third competition this past weekend.  8 teams, 150 cheerleaders, 1 boy, MY SON.  He was one of the leaders in his routine, calling cadence, & performed well.  They ended up with 2^nd place which he was disappointed in but he was proud of his effort.  I am humbled by his courage every day to chart his own path regardless of what others think.  He is an inspiration to me & is a reminder to all of us to choose the hard things in life regardless of what other people think.  AYE!
