Introduction

With nobody signed up to lead Thursday, Queen Napster was looking for somebody to Q at The Mighty O on Thursday preferably not yours truly, so I took that as a challenge and decided to grant one of his innermost wishes…just that one not his other creepy fantasy of Hodl in a speedo singing “It’s raining Bitcoin”.

Warm-O-Rama

  • Motivators from 6
  • Good mornings IC x 10
  • Tie Fighers (forward & reverse) IC x 10
  • Imperial Walkers IC x 10
  • Calf Stretch (10 ct per leg)

The Thang

3 rounds of a 4 station AMRAP with 10 blockees as the timer was the plan but low numbers and a couple of pulls had me pivot with about 10 minutes to start.

Instead of breaking off into 4 groups we moved together as one. We had 3 stations of 3 exercises each and would do 45 seconds of work with 15 seconds of rest, completing all 3 exercises before moving to the next station.

Station 1:

  • CPR’s
  • Chest Press
  • Bent Over Rows

Station 2:

  • Mucho Leggo
  • Reverse Lunge
  • Monkey Humpers

Station 3:

  • Hand Release Merkin
  • Derkins
  • Irkins

Station 4:

  • 10 Blockees

Rinse and repeat until Mary

Mary:

  • Bodies Hit the Floor
  • LBC’s until Recover Recover

Circle of Trust

One day you’ll do something for the last time and you won’t even know it
The last bike ride with your best friend
The last time your mom called just to check in
The last time you laughed without stress
There’s no warning, no sign just silence
Life doesn’t tell you when things are ending, it just moves on
We always think there’s more time, another day, another chance
But time is quiet, it doesn’t knock, it just disappears
And then one day you look at an old photo, you hear a song or smell something familiar
And suddenly you’re back there, just for a second
And that’s when it hits you, you were happy but didn’t know it
That moment you rushed through, you’d do anything to live it again
We don’t lose the big things all at once, we lose the little things slowly
A memory at a time so next time you laugh feel it,
Next time you hug, hold longer
Next time someone calls answer, you won’t know it’s the last time until it already too late

Naked Man Moleskin

The past few weeks have been pretty rough hearing of people losing loved ones left and right. Villa losing his niece, Mahomes losing his brother, an 18 year old skateboarder going to work was hit and killed near the Ridge, a guy on a motorcycle was hit and killed on Rt 30 and I’m sure I’m missing a couple of others. Just so much loss of life recently. You never know when will be the last time you speak to a loved one, so cherish each opportuntiy you get.

On a happy note, congrats to the greatest advice giver F3P has to offer, Dear Abby, on the birth of his newest granddaughter as he is cherishing his time he’s getting to spend with her in a land far far away!

Thank you to Napster for his questionable Site Q skills! 🙂

Great work by Shankapotamus, great seeing you out in the gloom!

…Meta still has that old man smell, usually found in a nursing home.
