What are you training for next? I just finished Ragnar Minnesota and now it is time to train for the next event, misogi, etc. I have my first marathon scheduled for Maui in April 2026. I am not sure what the next event will be before than. It is powerful to have something to train and look forward too. To push yourself and level up after completing the event. This past weekend had record breaking heat and humidity in Minnesota. Even though this course was the flattest Ragnar I have run, it was one of the more difficult because of weather. I am grateful for Parks and Rec who shared a David Goggins track. It took motivating clips from interviews and his book and mixed it with a trance track. It was exactly what I needed on my 9 miler in the heat. I had to dig into my cookie jar and keep telling myself that I am trained and nothing is going to stop me from finishing this leg in a good time. You unlock something with you tell that “little bitch” in your head to shut the fuck up. This also applies to things you need to do at work, for your family, etc. That little bitch gives you reasons to slow down, maybe tomorrow, you have done enough today, etc.
Don’t let the little bitch control you.
