Introduction
I haven’t Q’d in a while and wanted to get back to the basics. I did a ladder style work out where we were in the parking lot the whole time. A good amount of cardio mixed in with seven or eight exercises, depending on how far along we got through it.
have to work out. We were working together as a group, the second half of the workout we were on our own going at our own pace. We finished with a quick Mary.
Warm-O-Rama
We did five exercises for Warm-O-Rama. The five exercises included Tappy Taps, arm circles, Willie Mayes Hayes, Harry Rockets, and Michael Phelps.
The Thang
The workout consisted of a mix of cardio, coupon, work, and body work exercise.
There were eight different exercises. The first half consisted of Merkins, Coupon Squats, Lunges, and Curls.
Each PAX started on one end of the parking lot. Along the parking lot, there were four sets of cones. We would run to the first set of cone and then do five reps of the listed exercise. For instance, the first exercise was Merkins so we would run to the first cone, do five, get up and run to the second cone. Then we would do 10, run to the third cone and do 15, and run to the final cone and do 20. When you finish, you would pick up the six. We would all run back together to the start before proceeding onto the next exercise. We started as a group and we would finish as a group. And repeat for the next three exercises. I thought this was a good example of leaving no man behind.
after we completed four exercises as a group, the workout turned into an OYO style workout with American Hammers, Thrusters, Bobby Hurleys and Leg Raises. we would do these completely on our own. There was no need to wait for anyone else to finish so this gave PAX a chance to push themselves if they wanted to a little bit harder. Once the first PAX totally finished all 8 exercises we went to Mary where we did about 45 seconds of Big Boys, Pickle Pushers, and LBC’s.
Circle of Trust
My CoT was about appreciating the little things around you. I referenced some recent struggles My mom had with some health issues, but everything is getting much better and she is in a good place now. However, there was some time where my life was jumbled up because of this, and it really made me reflect and focus back on how I can take little things for granted very easily. make sure you appreciate the little things, as that will be something that can help lead to a more positive mindset.
Naked Man Moleskin
There were no intentions during the prayer today, but we were thankful for the opportunity to get out as a group and better ourselves today. Anytime you can get out of bed before five in the morning and push yourselves in a tough way, you are becoming a stronger person and that is something we need to hold dear.
