Introduction
Threw everyone for a loop with the flag plant location. Looked like rain was going to hold – virtually no rain from 0430 – 0500, but true MAYHEM requires rain and rain it did.

Mary included Wipers, SuperMans, WW1s and was in the field at Cone1. Mary was led by Team1 — the victorious rowers.
Circle of Trust
CoT
There are the traditional disaster oriented Maydays in aviation and maritime and military; this aircraft is going down without action now, this vessel cannot survive without help, i’m overwhelmed – need reinforcement. But there are also figurative Maydays. These may be in relationships, someone’s faith, someone’s emotions — they cannot get through their current position without help. Even though we might not regularly witness disastrous Maydays, we all experience or see figurative Maydays. Men, we are called to make ourselves ready for the disastrous, the soft and the unspoken Maydays in our lives and our community. We don’t retreat. We don’t hope someone else steps up. We show up. We lead from the front. We are called to provide the assistance. Be the men our communities need.
Prayer
We prayed for Broomy’s friend Matt whose leukemia prognosis has improved and for the baseball fan that fell in Pittsburgh.
Naked Man Moleskin
T’was a great day to celebrate Foreclosure’s 41st b-day AND 700th post. Team2’s Indian Runs were perfectly synchronized to the heavy rain — that’s some next level siteQ work Chummy.
I wouldn’t expect anything less, but I really appreciate all these HIM jumping in and getting after the work. Great job to those that had never been on a rower before. I know that I could have provided better setup & organization in the pavilion and I agree with AAR to have all men at one station and rotate together. No excuses, I will improve the timing of Qs rather than throwing out more than what could ever get done. I owe at least that to the group.
Nice push by all men — Team1’s rowing victory should be relevant for about another 10seconds. There were some blistering Indian Run paces (appreciate the push Broomstick), no complaints and fantastic attitudes all around.
